European salad course for beginners

Learn to make healthy and tasty European salads which you can find on the menu at many cafes and restaurants in Europe.
In Europe there are many delicious and tasty salads. On this course you learn to make an authentic French salad with goat cheese, Caesar salad with chicken and a classic Greek salad with olives and feta. They are 3 different healthy salads that enhance your health with vitamins and proteins.

These tasty salads are suitable for hot summer days in Japan with a chill glass of white wine.

What do you learn at the course?

You will get an introduction to 3 different delicious and tasty European salads and their importance in European gastronomy.
You learn to handle several different European ingredients such as vinegar, mustard, honey and olive oil, goat cheese and greek feta cheese.
You learn to use several different kinds of European lettuces.
You learn what to look for when purchasing European raw materials such as vinegar, mustard, goat cheese and feta cheese.
You work with European materials such as Greek olives, French goat cheese and Greek feta cheese. It is materials that give the unique aromas and flavors that characterize European salads.
You learn to cut European bread to the right size and melt French goat cheese in the oven.
You work with different cutting techniques and cut different kinds of vegetables, bread and cheese to the salads.
You learn step-by-step to make Chevre Chaud salad, Caesar salad with chicken and a classic Greek salad.

What are you getting?

2,5 hour of teaching and ½ hour of tasting the food.
You learn to make Chevre Chaud salad, Caesar salad and a classic Greek salad.
You may taste the freshly made salad on the course. You are also welcome to bring all 3 different salad home to enjoy.
You will of course be given the recipes.

About the instructor

The course is held by the Japanese educated Sushi chef & sake sommelier Zoë Escher.
On this course you will also strengthen your English skills while learning how to make tasty European salad.

About the class

There are small exclusive teams with max. 13 attendants.
The class is not bigger than that there is time for Zoë to give personal feedback.
