Which Japanese Green tea is the most popular in Europe?

In 2004, I visited and trained in Japan for the first time. I visited a tea shop in Ikebukuro which is located in northern Tokyo.

I Japan, there is a large selection of green tea that are divided into different grades and flavor nuances.
Genmai-Cha as seen in the picture is the most popular type of tea among Europeans. It does not have such a strong taste. The other Japanese green tea varieties with European taste buds have a rather bitter aftertaste.

If you are not used to it it may seem powerful and dominant.

The Japanese tea seen here on the picture can be purchased in many Asian shops.
