Since 2004, I have visited Japan once a year.

From my first day in Japan, I have noticed the healthy lifestyle of Japanese people.
Many Japanese peope in their 70s look 15-20 years younger and, they have lots of energy. It’s not entirely coincidental.

The Japanese pay attention to what they eat and drink every single day. This food awareness is what they grew up with and have become a part of their culture.
Although the Japanese live a busy life with work, family and activities, they do not compromise on their health. In Japan, onigiri is most often eaten for lunch it is healthy and easy to take on the go without the food getting boring.

As a Japanese-trained sushi chef, I have often traveled to Japan and gained an in-depth knowledge of the Japanese’s healthy gastronomic lifestyle.
This insight has resulted in a small e-book with healthy and nutritious Japanese onigiri with different kinds of fillings.
